From June 13-15, Eric Rubottom (FTC) traveled to Clemson, SC to participate in the semi-annual meeting helping translate the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying’s (NCEES) paper-based exam into a computer-based exam for architectural engineering. The 15-20 invited volunteers are combing through and proofing available questions for upcoming exams as well as developing a consolidated reference guide for test takers. Eric will return to NCEES’ HQ in mid-August for the continuation of these tasks, ultimately building to the first computer-based exam, anticipated in October 2021. NCEES is an organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure, promoting a national dialogue of consistency, and overseeing the examinations in several engineering disciplines. Learn More >>
