George I. Sanchez Collaborative Community School
In collaboration with Bradbury Stamm Construction, Inc. and Jon Anderson Architecture, BG Buildingworks provided the MEP engineering for the award-winning school. The 245,000 SF facility was built for the Albuquerque Public Schools in the region’s South Valley.
Although the project was only required to earn LEED Silver, the project exceeded expectations and will achieve LEED Gold. The school will serve 1,300 students and features a cafeteria, gymnasium, classrooms, and administrative spaces. BG Buildingworks’ project manager, Morgan Royce stated “This was a great internal effort between several members to get the project done ahead of schedule and showcase our continued relationship with Jon Anderson Architects and our growing school portfolio.”
