SEAKR Engineering

SEAKR Engineering, who designs and manufactures spacecraft solid state memory (SSSM) systems, contracted with BG to design a high-tech facility, to include offices and support and testing areas.

BG provided mechanical and electrical engineering design and construction administration services to provide a completely new HVAC system and electrical service to accommodate the needs for the new facility that was being modified to include the facility expansion next door to their existing facility. The MEP design included the infrastructure design to accommodate the new office area, support spaces, five Thermotron test chambers, and two vacuum test chambers.

BG coordinated with the manufacturer to determine the MEP needs for each piece of equipment so that the MEP systems could be designed to provide the systems need for this equipment.

The design for this project including the issuing of a set or 95% set of MEP drawings for the Clients review and approval and 100% Construction Drawings for plan review and bidding.
