Visitors are drawn to the Taos Ski Valley to experience rich spiritual traditions, an artisan scene with a thriving pulse of music, and the raw, natural beauty of Taos, a storied town and home to the World Heritage Site’s Taos Pueblo. Founded more than 60 years ago, the awe inspiring surrounding to the area is home to The Blake Residences, a residential complex of 24 private homes located in the heart of the village.
BG worked with architectural partners Studio Southwest from Albuquerque and Hart Howerton from New York to provide lighting design for the 74,192 square foot building where the recessed lighting offers a warm color temperature throughout the residences to complement the warm finishes and highlight southwestern design elements. The residences are mere feet away from The Blake at Taos Ski Valley and renowned amenities including local shopping, distinctive cuisine, a mountain market which BG also worked on, and a new ice-skating rink. One, two, and three-bedroom options are available with fully equipped, high-end kitchens, and 24-hour service from on-call Hausmesiters to make guests visits extra special.
